NASA .... but first what's for lunch?
What's for lunch? Definitely ... ... SEAFOOD! There is crawfish, kind of like shrimp , but taste a bit different. And defintely got oyster, calamari (squid), crab ...... it is really GREAT!
Best of all ....... it is SEAFOOD BUFFET!
I am enjoying every single bit of the Seafood .....
At it was really a very very very ...... full and tasteful lunch ... :D
Inside the apartment - part 2
This is my room ...... in the apartment. Not too bad. Good enough for me to sleep :D It come with a standard Double-size bed, a cabinet with mirror, and a wall cloths cabinet with mirrors!This is another room in the apartment, which my colleague is sleeping.
And this is the master bedroom with attached bathroom.Oh ... all rooms come with a 29" TV with 75 channels!

Inside the apartment
Since I am staying on the second floor of the apartment, I will need to climbs some stairs to go up. It is not very high up, just second floor :D
Good exercise, at lease some exercise :P
And this is the Living room ..... with a cosy coarch and a 29" TV, with 75 channels (yes, 75 Channels Cable TV), and a balcony (the white door)
This is the Dining hall, just beside the living room, with a dinner table for 6 person. Seldom use it as I don't really cook at the apartment. My colleague used it as a study table though.

Yeap ... if you really missed Malaysia's food vey much, you can always go to Cafe Malay .......I wouldn't said it is 100% Malaysia taste food, but is a cafe that you can enjoy Asian food ..... Malaysia style ......
So what do they served? Let see .... Bah Kuh Teh, Singapore friend rice noddle, roti canai, and etc ......

And it look better from outside to inside :DIt look a lot better than the previous I stay in ...... so how about the room? It seem pretty nice as well ..... :D

Hotel that I was staying ...... for just a day ...
OK ..... After a long day at work, is time for me to check into the hotel and rest.
But wait ..... you sure this is a hotel? It look like where the US police usually catch the bad guys ..... where they storm in and start shooting ...... scary .....
But, actually in it is a very cosy and comfortable ...... hmm .... we really can't judge a book from it cover ..... and in this case, a hotel :DWith a king-size bed, and a bathtub to relax in ...... huhhh...
. ... such a relaxing day ......At the Alamo
One of the thing that I know about Texas is from the movie "The Alamo" - it is a movie about the great hero who defend "Alamo", a fortress, with less than 200 soldiers ..... against the massive force of Mexican in 1836.......
This is the remaining after fortress after 1836, nothing much leave from the war .....By the way, haven't wacth "The Alamo" yet ...... go and rent/buy 1 today!

First day in Houston - San Antonio
First day in Houston, 23 April 2006 - San Antonio.
After a night rest at the company rented apartment, I am all set to go to San Antonio, a place down south west of houston, and it is famous because of "The Alamo".
This is the Riverside Mall, a mall surrounding by river, it is much like The Mines in Malaysia.
Walking along the river side .....
enjoying the view and the river scene ..... in a summer breeze.20 Hours .....
First stop- Taipei ...... need to wait for an hour or 2 for the transit to LA, US.
Then another 3 hours - LA, waiting for flight to Houston ......And, eventually ..... I reached Houston at 11pm on 22 April 2006. Wait I travel on 22 April 2006, 9.45am ..... and travel for 20+ hours .... and I still in 22 April when I arrived? Confuse ... :S ..... jetlag .....

On 22 April .......
Even though this is not the first time I am going away from home for months (first time went to Europe for 3 months ....... in 2005), I am still a bit relunctant to leave home ...... leave my wife and my cute doggie, Cookie for 2 months ......
So ...... I bring her with me to KLIA ...
I just love her ...... my silly little Shih Tzu named Cookie. Oh .... of couse I love my wife too :D

Got my flight ticket .... and ready to sleep for 20+ hours
A week or so after the confirmation notice, I quickly book my flight tickets to Houston, US. It was hard, as it usually required minimum of 2 weeks to prepare for a outstation trip so that the company travel agent can prepare well before time. Anyway, due to short "notice" of anything and everything, I was suppose to fly on 22 April 2006.
The travel agent tried hard, and finally got a sit for me (in Business Class, WOW) to travel to Houston on 22 April 2006.
OK. Now flight ticket is ready and I am pack to go .......

Finally, I got words from my company that I will be going to US in May 2006 ...... after hearing that said it 3 months ago :P
